PACIFIC RAILROAD SOCIETY is one of the oldest rail enthusiast organizations in the United States. We are comprised of people from all ages and walks of life who share an interest in railroads, and membership is open to anyone interested in railroads or rail transit. Train travel, history, preservation, equipment restoration and photography are among the interests and activities of the Society. The Society is run entirely by volunteers.

VISIT: The Pacific Railroad Society Museum is located in the historic Santa Fe Depot in San Dimas and is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Access is limited to comply with COVID requirements, and the Museum is staffed by volunteers, so please call (909) 394-0616 before you visit to confirm the schedule. PRS endeavors to open the Museum on additional days for researchers, tour groups, and special requests. Please call to arrange a visit during off-hours.
JOIN: Membership in the Society is open to anyone interested in trains, railroads, or rail transit. People of all ages and abilities are welcome. Yearly dues start at just $45. TRAVEL: Pacific Railroad Society owns railcars that it takes on private train excursions! Excursions are generally on Amtrak routes to destinations such as San Luis Obispo, San Diego, and Perris. Society members and the general public can purchase tickets for these excursions. Click HERE to learn more about past and future excursions.
